How do you get the body off this thing? Thanks to Nick K it wasn't that difficult. I first built a dolly out of 2x6 and casters, with 8" 4x4 mounted to align with the 4 outer cockpit mounting holes.

Then we acquired a pair of 1/2 eyebolts, 4 beam washers, and a 10' stainless braid cable and attached these to the inner seat belt holes in the cockpit.

Attached the cable to an engine hoist through the sunroof.

And up it went. Attaching the cable at the inner seatbelt holes was the perfect balance point (Nick, Thank you) for the angle needed to get the front of the leg channels to clear the frame. My buddy Steve and I managed the lift off ourselves.

Moving the body off the frame with the hoist.

Then lowering it and securing it to the dolly with lag bolts.

We are now ready to get the frame sandblasted.
