And it begins!

The vehicle was delivered safely to it's new home at 3am on Friday October 24th 2019.

Thank you Ian for seeing it on its way.

The transporter could have put it in the bed of that crew cab!

Once it arrived I couldn't wait to start getting into it.

Finaly got a few hours on November 1st. Starting with removal of the bonnet. Then radiator and cooling system. Followed by the ignition and fuel systems. Strombergs are seized, water pump is sloppy and the cooling system will need to be flushed as well as the radiator recored. The alternator is an AC delco from some GM donor and the electric cooling fan and controller are not salvageable. Valves look good as does distributor. Lots more to do but had a great time seeing it come apart so easily. Everything bagged, tagged and boxed. Photos taken of the dismantling process, we call it a night.
